Heart of Gold
Heart of Gold is a program devoted to highlighting some of the terrific non-profit organizations in Lexington, Kentucky. 'Heart' is going on it's fifth year and over 75 organizations have been spotlighted so far. The sole purpose of the program is to have each non-profit share their mission, who they serve, invite people to get involved through volunteering, and helping promote any annual event they may have planned.
Through the generosity of WKYT - Channel 27, the local Lexington CBS affiliate, the program is produced by their team, as they volunteer their time, talents and resources for this monthly program. It is aired locally in Lexington on our Government channel TVG 3, and on Insight local access Channel 14. Thanks to all of our partners, especially our new partner, the Ronald McDonald House in Lexington, Kentucky, who is donating time and space on their web site allowing this to be available via the internet and to world wide audiences.
